Terms of Service
Last updated: April 24, 2026
These Terms govern your use of ClockTheDock (the “Service”). By creating an account or using the Service you agree to these Terms.
What ClockTheDock is
ClockTheDock is a billing preparation tool for owner-operators and small fleets. It helps you assemble detention invoice packages from rate confirmations and stop documentation. ClockTheDock is not a law firm, factoring company, accountant, or dispatcher, and nothing in the Service is legal, tax, or financial advice. You are responsible for verifying all extracted terms and calculations against your original documents before submitting any claim.
Account and eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and authorized to bind the company you represent. You are responsible for the security of your account credentials and for all activity under your account.
Subscriptions and billing
- Plans are offered as $29 per month or $290 per year, billed in advance through Stripe.
- New accounts include a 14-day free trial. You may cancel before the trial ends to avoid charges.
- Subscriptions renew automatically until canceled. You can cancel at any time from the billing portal.
- Fees are non-refundable except where required by law.
- We may change pricing on prospective renewals with reasonable notice.
Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Upload documents you do not have the right to use.
- Submit invoices you know to be inaccurate or fraudulent.
- Reverse-engineer, scrape, or interfere with the Service.
- Use the Service to violate any law or third-party right.
Your content
You retain ownership of the documents and data you upload. You grant ClockTheDock a limited license to process that content solely to provide the Service to you. We do not use your uploaded documents to train AI models for other customers.
Disclaimers
The Service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that brokers will pay any invoice generated through the Service. Detention recovery depends on your underlying contracts, evidence, and the broker’s willingness to pay.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, ClockTheDock is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, lost profits, or lost data. Our aggregate liability for any claim arising out of the Service will not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose.
Termination
You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or that pose risk to the Service or other users.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Arizona, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any dispute will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Maricopa County, Arizona.
Changes
We may update these Terms. Material changes will be communicated by email or in-app notice. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
